Ice Conditions in Mobridge, SD 12-30-2009

Members of the Committee were out yesterday and ran from Indian Creek to Deadman Bay and South.  Ice is 10-14 inches, with quite a bit of snow.  There was about 7 inches of slush on the ice,  but that will freeze in the next couple of days.  Snowmobiles and 4 wheelers with chains seem to be the best way to get around, but would assume with the cold weather coming up, the drifts will be pretty hard making things a little easier to get around.  As far as access, the boat ramps will be cleaned out, but we haven’t gotten a hold of the Grand River Casino to see if they will clean out Indian Memorial.
