Ice on Lake Oahe, Mobridge, South Dakota

It is official, there is now ice across Lake Oahe near the Mobridge area.  With a cold clipper coming in, there may be people fishing on the main lake by next weekend.  Angler’s have been trying their luck in Oak Creek, and around the Pollock area.  As for the ice tournament, anglers have been registering at a very fast pace.  There are now 194 teams registered.  If you have registered for the tournament, you can go to the Mobridge Chambers web site to take a look at what team number you are.  This will be updated weekly, so if you are not on there yet, please be patient.
