July 14th, Lake Oahe Fishing Report, Mobridge, South Dakota

by chamber2387 ~ July 13, 2009

Walleye fishing on Lake Oahe is still good.  The water temperature in the bays is around 80-82 degrees, and on the main lake it is sitting aroun 78 degrees.  There is no dout tha tthe summer patterns are starting to show with bites happening fast and furious than slowing until another wave of fish come in.  Presentations that still seem to be working are snells tipped with crawlers and jointed and staight crankbaits are also working.  The fish still seem to be hanging near a line between the old shoreline and brush that has been covered up by the water.  Depths between 12 and 28 feet.  Spots like the Grand River, Oak Creek, Moose Flats, and Sitting Bull seem to be producing the most fish.
