June 5th, Lake Oahe Fishing Report, Mobridge, South Dakota
by chamber2387 ~ June 5, 2009
The fishing on Lake Oahe is picking up as the water temperatures keep increasing. Reports of fish being caught around Mobridge, South Dakota is encouraging, and the numbers of fish being found on the sonar is great! Walleyes are still biting great around the Pollock area, presentations of crank baits, jig w/minnow, and leaders with crawler or minnow are all working. Limits are not hard to come by in that area. For this weekend I would anticipate that with the weather forecast your best bet to find walleyes north of Mobridge, from Oak Creek to Little Leola, and for a sure bet…try Pollock.
