Lake Oahe Fishing Report, September 18, 2009 Mobridge, SD

by chamber2387 ~ September 18, 2009

The walleye are definitely picking up their bite around Mobridge.  The water temp is staying consistent, and the water has dropped a few feet, controlling the patterns of the walleye.  Great reports are coming in from several places on Lake Oahe.  Fish are being caught in the Grand River, north of the railroad bridge, and Rorgo Bay.  There also has been reports around Blue Blanket and Thomas Bay.  The fish seem to be sitting at 17-21 feet and anglers are catching them with a bottom bouncer and snell with a plain hook.  Some anglers have also have been using crankbaits to catch their walleye.
