Mobridge Ice Fishing Tournament Update 01/09/2013

The planning and preparations are almost complete and we are looking forward to hosting 1000 anglers this weekend.  Ice conditions are good, but it looks like Mother Nature is throwing us a bit of a curve ball. As of this morning, we were put in a Winter Storm Watch and it looks like we can be expected to get 4-10″ of snow with some pretty good winds Friday afternoon and evening cold and wind Saturday for the tourney.  We wanted to make sure that our anglers are aware of the conditions and if driving on Friday please allow for some more time to get to Mobridge.

We also wanted to remind everyone on our Ice Expo that will be opening up on Thursday and will continue on Friday.  If you are a participant in the tournament you will be able to register early at the expo and get into the Expo for free.  At the expo you will be able to see the latest and greatest in gear for ice fishing and pick up some tips from our panel discussion at 7 pm, Thursday, January 10th.  When visiting the expo you will receive a card to have the reps at the booth to sign and once all the signatures are collected by you you will be able to turn it in for a drawing for a brand new Vexilar Double Vision ($1000 value). The expo is also open to the public for a $5 admission and they will also receive a card to be eligible for the drawing.
